To celebrate and motivate the move back to Leonine Ponderances

I have signed up for NaBloPoMo… which is similiar to NaNoWriMo except that the goal is to write a blog post every day.

I’m not even sure how long it has been since I used this site for my main blog. I never finished converting it from Movable Type to WordPress. With the horrible drama that was going on with the rescue at the time, it just seemed better to move to LiveJournal for the time being where I could friends lock my posts. Most everyone that I want to be able read my blog is on there anyways.

As you can see, there’s nothing here yet. But hopefully signing up for NaBloPoMo with this as my blog address will ignite the motivation needed to devote some time to re-establishing my blog here, including importing old entries from MovableType and importing the posts made at LJ for the last couple of years.

In other news, I came across an interesting thing today. It’s a project focused on making and sending helmet liners to the troops in Iraq. As will be covered in a sub blog soon to be set up here, I have gone back to my yarny ways. Last winter, I did a temporary stint where I just made dog sweater after dog sweater in order to have an adequate stash of sweaters for my boys… especially the naked one! This time around, I’ve been doing other things and have yet to make a dog sweater again. I’ve pushed my way back into knitting and now find it less scary and intimidating than when I was a teenager and decided to stick with easy and simple crochet.

I do have a couple of FOs (finished objects) to post. That’ll be a subject for another blog post on another day!
