Another postcard was registered today as received so that makes my officially received count: 2.
Ironically, that one is the 6th postcard sent out on that account and it went to Canada. I just finished writing #7 to a girl in Thailand. I bet it’ll take 40+ days for it to register.
You really have to have patience to do PostCrossing! Because the mail system in other countries is like molasses sometimes.
I decided to take a page from A’s book and register another account so that there’s more postcards in play. I figure it’ll help the odds that I will get successfully received postcards of at least once a week. That should be enough to keep me interested in this.
I’ve already sent 2 on that account. For the 3 remaining people, I need to buy a california map postcard and find one of the Hairspray movie postcards. The third, I have to look up again but I think I was just going to send some touristy ones that I’ll buy this weekend.
Need to figure out what to do with postcards that I receive. Thinking to get a photo album type book that has clear sleeves that you can see through to the other side. Then I can put postcards in and see both sides. I have bunch of postcards I’ve saved from my Mom over the years so it’ll be nice to have them all together where I can look at them.
