12 days of ….

So it’s been a while since I updated but it’s been a whirlwind. 11th – stayed up all night cleaning the apt and hanging with the bro. 12th – after one hour sleep, drove to SD with Nicole and got there minutes before Zoo opened @ 9am. Friends met us there. Left around 2:30pm for [...]

Because she twittered it…

Now I really want pizza too!Preferably from The Rainbow but Two Brother’s would be good too… the latter is extremely greasy but that’s what napkins are for… just look at this delicious thing! Pepperoni & Pesto if memory serves… it was VERY good.

Torture

Is sitting at work, hungry because I still haven’t gotten lunch yet. And Gmail gives me “101 Cookbooks – Coconut Macaroon Pancakes”!! They sound sooo good! If you can imagine coconut macaroons in pancake form, you’ll understand where I’m headed. Moist, golden, coconut-packed, with just a hint of sweetness – these are decadent and delicious.

Letter F

F for Fifi, a dog from the rescue that I’ve been fostering. I’ve written about her a lot before. Frank Baum who created the world of Oz. I believe it’s on my 101 in 1001 list to find and re-read as many of the books as I can. I loved these books when I was [...]

Not too bad! Only problem is that [...]

But all the wild california poppies and other various wildflowers do not bloom within view of the 14. Nicole woke me up at unholy hour [...]

Letter E

I had to think about this one because there’s not a lot of ‘E’s in my life. At least not these days, since my first serious relationship was with a man named Emmett. The relationship wasn’t a good one for us but over time I got over my anger about it and now we’re friendly [...]

Letter D for my last name

Going to keep this one short. Ryan and I are the last of the Dodsons. Unless Ryan has kids, the name will die with us. Uncle Charlie never married or had kids and Aunt Ann’s kids have their father’s name. Recently I asked Dad about Grandpap’s house in Pennsylvania. What had he and UC & [...]

Letter C for Captain

Soon after Almond joined my family, Mom and I realized that I had the ABCs, in that my 3 dogs were Almond, Bastian and Captain! So naturally when I think of the letter C, I think of Captain. Captain is my doggie soulmate. I met him early on in my volunteering with the rescue. I [...]
