Enough dawdling
Time to pull up the nasty carpet in the bedroom. Had already found the bag with dust masks & twine, and bought the temporary plastic liner for the floor.
Had to search around for a pair of gardening gloves I knew I had, but just found them. Got the music set up in there. Opened the windows and took off the screen so that I could push the garbage bags out the window and haul them to dumpster from there.
Even pulled out a screwdriver and pried out the screw that was jammed into the one side of the bedroom window since before we moved in. Now both windows are open!
I just wish I had a box fan already but should be ok.
Bonus: the laptop in the bedroom booted up… apparently the hard drive’s had a nice rest and is back from its long vacation. Hope I don’t have to unplug it today because want to try and get the data off that drive before it becomes completely dead.
Alright so nothing else to do but get in there and start working!
